ASPCA-led team of RECOMMENDS 48 VICK DOGS 49 can be placed
As reported in ASPCA tender in late August, the ASPCA has been taken in preparation for leading a team of certified applied animal behaviorist in the evaluation of several dogs from Vick property in connection with the federal investigation.

The evaluations were conducted between September 4-6 and the team has recently provided its recommendation to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, 48 of the 49 dogs that have the potential of a particular type of investment. Investment options are recommended for dogs:

Possible Re-homing into appropriate foster homes for further observation and evaluation
Rehabilitation as police dogs
Placement in the sanctuaries, which must meet USDA facility standardsDarts
One of the 49 dogs was considered unsuitable for the rehabilitation and recommended for euthanasia, ordered Monday, 1 October, by Judge Henry E. Hudson. A federal judge will decide the ultimate fate of the 48 dogs recommended for potential investments.
